For the second consecutive year, 4 Star Electronics, a leading independent distributor of electronic components, has received the Boeing Performance Excellence Award for consistently delivering high quality electronic and aircraft components to multiple Boeing sites.
4 Star Electronics has been a proud business partner with Boeing, supplying high quality obsolete electronic components and other items for many years. As part of the Boeing Counterfeit Electronic Parts Avoidance (CEPA) program, 4 Star is trusted to supply Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) components by utilizing practices and methods to mitigate the risks of Boeing receiving counterfeit electronic parts.
4 Star Electronics stands apart from other independent distributors, with an extensive list of certifications and capabilities to ensure delivery of components with the highest possible quality, based on the latest industry standards.

What is the Boeing Performance Excellence Award?
The Boeing Performance Excellence Award (BPEA) is an annual program that awards suppliers for superior performance, product quality and delivery efficiency. BPEA recipients are announced every January, kicking off each New Year by recognizing the most exceptional suppliers in every industry.
To be eligible for the Boeing Performance Excellence Award, suppliers must maintain an annual contract payment value of at least $100,000 and a minimum of ten monthly deliveries or a General Performance Assessment rating. Boeing awards the BPEA to those suppliers with consistently high ratings, and 4 Star Electronics maintained excellent performance ratings for every month during the entire BPEA annual performance period of October 1st 2012 to September 30th 2013.
