Entrepreneur and Pricewaterhouse Coopers Release 12th Annual Hot 100 Listing of Fastest-growing New Companies in the U.S.
San Clemente, May 20th, 2005 – 4 Star Electronics, Inc. is named one of the top 100 fastest-growing new entrepreneurial companies in America in the June 2005 issue of Entrepreneur magazine. Duane Wilson, Josh Wilson & Jake Wilson founded 4 Star Electronics, Inc. in 2001 with 3 employees and a $200k initial investment. Three years later, with a staff of 15 and $5.3 million in sales in 2004, 4 Star Electronics, Inc. is number 78 on Entrepreneur's Hot 100 list.
The 10th Annual Hot 100 listing of fast-growing new businesses was compiled with assistance from D&B, the leading provider of global business information and technology solutions. Entrepreneur collected information and financial statements from up-and-coming entrepreneurial companies in D&B's massive database. Then, Entrepreneur measured each company's sales growth from the date of inception, listing the businesses in growth order.
Each company that was considered for Entrepreneur's Hot 100 list was founded no earlier than 2000, had more than $1 million in annual sales for 2004, and has a founder who is actively involved in daily operations and has a controlling interest in the business.
