Clare, Inc., formerly CP Clare Corporation, was founded in 1937 by Carl Clare to provide high-voltage switching technology to a growing telecommunications market. Clare designs, manufactures and markets optically isolated solid state relays (OptoMOS®), mixed-signal custom ASICs and ASSP integrated circuits (ICs) for the telecommunications market.
